Paragon Studio is collaborating with Gym80

Paragon Studio is collaborating with premium strength brand Gym80 to offer a line of ultra premium commercial-grade strength equipment with a luxury aesthetic; intended for prime residential, commercial and hospitality settings.

Founded by Edward Thomas in 2021, Paragon Studio is a UK-based designer and manufacturer of luxury gym equipment which features natural materials and a vast array of customisation options.

Gym80 is a German company which was founded in 1980, and is well known for producing strength machines of the highest quality and with industry-leading biomechanics. Gym80 also prides itself on offering clients the opportunity to fully customise their products; offering up numerous paint finishes and a huge range of luxury leather upholstery choices, as well as more unique customisations like laser-cut framework and shrouds which give machines the appearance of a piece of sculpture.

The Gym80 x Paragon Studio strength line will be offered as standard with a bespoke wooden element incorporated into each machine; which the Paragon Studio workshop will produce to match other wooden equipment or joinery in the gym. Clients will be able to select from a range of modern paint colours, and will have the option to match upholstered pads to other leather products in the Paragon Studio range.

This move towards offering a wider range of bespoke equipment suitable for commercial settings comes as Paragon Studio continues to expand its footprint as a gym design consultancy in the commercial and hospitality markets; with Edward Thomas taking a leading role in curating wellness clubs around the world for luxury hotel and health club developers.

Edward Thomas, Creative Director, Paragon Studio comments:

“We are noticing a sharp increase in demand for our products in the commercial and hospitality markets as a result of the high profile spaces we have delivered in the prime residential sector. I believe that trends are shifting in the gym design world, and our neutral-tone aesthetic incorporating natural materials is now the most sought after in the industry – with the blacks and greys of yesteryear now out of fashion. I have loved Gym80 for a long time, because their machines represent the best-of-the best in build quality and customisation. The opportunity to add our signature mark to their pieces is a dream come true for me as a fitness equipment fanatic and gym designer”

Kriss Tottman, Commercial Director, Gym80 comments:

“Working with Paragon Studio, and Edward in particular is a really exciting prospect for us at Gym80. Both brands are in alignment in terms of values, work ethos and a commitment to premium quality and a luxury approach to the experience we want to deliver to our clients, customers and partners. Significant parts of this industry now demand higher quality materials, design focus and biomechanics to help the user, who now knows more and is far more aware of the level of training and expertise they wish to have. The shift towards a custom, bespoke approach is here and this partnership allows both brands to play huge part is supporting this.”
