Our team had the pleasure of attending the Monaco Yacht Show this year, running from the 27th to the 30th of September.
Amongst the fantastic yachts on display were 2 which particularly stood out – in as much as they feature gym equipment from our range!
CARINTHIA VII
This 97m Lurssen spans 6 decks and is one of the most iconic yachts afloat. Designed by Tim Heywood, the yacht was delivered in 2002.
Recently sold due to the sad passing of her original owner, Carinthia VII underwent a large refit in 2023 at Lurssen’s dedicated facility in Hamburg.
A new gym was created on the bridge deck-aft, with large glass sliding doors allowing fresh air to sweep through the training space, and to provide a panoramic view when working out.
We created a set of Diabolo Dumbbells in Iroko & Steel for the project, spread across two 5 pair racks which also include sea fastening brackets for when the yacht is underway.
VIRTUOSITY
This is a modern Italian yacht that oozes style!
Virtuosity was built by San Lorenzo and delivered in the summer of 2023. It is part of their very successful 57Steel series and is currently 1 of 5 of the same hull in service.
The chique interiors were designed by Zuccon International Project.
Our input in the gym included a classic black leather boxing bag complete with gloves; custom branded Diabolo Dumbbells in Blackwood and Steel; with a matching vertical weight column and tree rack to store them in.
