We made these very special one-off design dumbbells for a customer who had a particular love for Sapele – a reddish-brown hardwood from the mahogany family.
In order to get a perfect match with the interior scheme in the property, we requested from the interior outfitter that we were supplied with some quarter-sawn offcuts of wood stock left over from the joinery. These were turned in our workshop and used to create the handles.
On the polished end plates, the client’s logo was integrated into the weight numbering design to add an extra touch of personalisation. These designs are laser etched and can include incredible levels of detail.
