“Capturing a Global Mood of Connection, Comfort, and Harmony.” ~ Pantone
At Paragon Studio, we believe great design is a dialogue—an ever-evolving conversation between colour, form, and culture. The Pantone Color of the Year never fails to highlight this dialogue, capturing the mood of the moment into a single hue. This year, the Pantone Colour Institute has chosen PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, a shade so deeply aligned with our aesthetic and brand, that it feels as though it was created with us in mind.
Rich, warming, and sophisticated, Mocha Mousse captures the essence of indulgence and comfort. Its velvety brown undertones reflect the sensory pleasures of chocolate and coffee—two universal luxuries that resonate with our pursuit of timeless elegance. This hue integrates into our brand, connecting with the palettes that define so many of our products and projects alike.
Pantone’s colour of the year 2025 has flummoxed the world of design, but in a good way. The normal COTY agenda is to capture a global mood and feel, which does not necessarily lend itself to direct decor inspiration. This has explained the choice of a lot of Pantone’s COTY in previous years, which has often provoked a confused design choice from the creative eye of the interior design world.
However, turning this feeling upside down, this years COTY not only makes it a tonal palette accessible to the world of interior decor, but is a comforting, warm and decadent colour that already gets the creative cogs spinning in the Paragon Studio teams heads.
